Learn Music

Learn Indian classical music

Step-by-step voice training in the guru-shishya tradition — from your first steady sa to the depths of Dhrupad.

Learning Indian classical music begins not with songs, but with the voice itself. Our online courses follow the same staircase used at our school for over thirty years: first the breath and the steady tone, then the twelve swaras, then raga — and finally Dhrupad and Khayal, where the trained voice learns to speak.

How the online courses work

  • Structured lessons — video, audio and written material in every course, organised in modules.
  • Practice with the tanpura — guided audio drones for your daily swara practice.
  • Assignments and feedback — record yourself, submit, and receive personal guidance from your teacher.
  • Learn in your language — courses are published in English, Marathi and Czech.
